The time has come for our son to makean important decision for his future.
This past weekend we found out
that my son was accepted to these two fine
U.C. Colleges they were the only two he applied to.
He was feeling kind of nervous but once he got the email notice(yes
they inform you by email now and then send out packages)
he was feeling a little relieved he heard from Davis on Friday
and From Santa Cruz on Sat.
we are so proud and excited for
him. Now he has a decision to make and so he has decided since
he has a little time before responding we are going to take a
little trip to tour the campuses one more time so that he
can make his decision. I will let you know what he
decides.

What an exciting decision. I remember well in 1959 when I applied to both Biola and Azusa Colleges in Southern CA. Biola accepted me ~~~ and I never did hear from Azusa ~~ I took it as God's will - went to Biola, met and married Pastor Don....Good choice.
Hope you son's works out as well as mine did.

My daughter just finished her degree 2 years ago from UC Davis. She loved it there and so did I. It made visiting her so fun. Davis is so quaint.
and it's just 90 minutes from home mom :)
We give them wings...and then they fly...it's so hard, very bittersweet.

Don't worry mom. It will be hard to let him go but you will still have one more at home.
When the youngest goes off to college, you get that empty nest feeling for quite a while. They will be missed!
The good news: you two can start a whole new relationship and rediscover why you fell in love.
